digital illustrators
The majority of our work is now produced and supplied
in a digital format. Even when an artist is 'traditional' by nature using
mediums such as water colour, pastel or chalk for example, the end piece
will be delivered to you as a JPEG, TIFF or PDF, digitally enhanced and
ready for use. (Please specify if a different file type is required).
Some artists now create digital images 'from scratch' in packages such
as 'photoshop' or 'painter'. This allows the artist great control over
the build up of imagery with amendments far less of a problem. The skill
with which these artists generate their work makes it impossible to tell
from an actual 'traditional' piece which would have been created on paper/canvas
and scanned in as the final image.
With all that said 'traditional' artwork is still created here when required
and work such as 'caricatures' which may be supplied as a gift will be
originals and signed by the artist.
