Wan has been busy yet again – his quick turnaround on a commission by Zincc.com Design for 12 professional characters had the client suitably impressed.

monkey feet visits the 2010 london book fair.

Back in April (which seems an age ago now), monkey feet visited the 2010, London Book Fair at Earl’s Court.

It was a great day and a fanatastic opportuntity to catch up with publishers we already work with and also many that ‘we hope to work with in the future’ 😉

It’s always nice to see the projects we have worked on in the completed book stage and we especially liked seeing the new 3D developed PH Publishing production of the JCB books from earlier on in the year.

They looked great and are sure to be a big success in the coming year!

take a penguin break.

Early on in April, Blueprint Design of Manchester got in touch with Monkey Feet wanting to discuss the creation and development of a penguin character they had in mind for a promotion.

The characters’ aim was to help promote the special offer for ‘Excide Batteries’, so Monkey Feet quickly set about illustrating a simple scene depicting two ‘penguin mechanics’ taking a well earned break!

This image is to be printed directly onto mugs and will hopeful enhance the sales and promote the product in the coming months.

monkey feet kick start style guide for JCB.

Having recently been commissioned to supply PH Publishers with illustrations for their new range of children’s books, JCB (having seen these) have now instructed Monkey Feet Illustration to produce a set of 3D model illustrations to be included in the soon to be released ‘style guide’ for JCB themselves.

The artist requested for this was obviously, once again ‘Cameron’ due to his work with PH Publishing on the initial books.

Hopefully once this style guide is released, companies linked in to the children’s range of JCB will be in touch to assure that the ‘style guide’ is adhered to by using ‘Cameron’ as the preferred artist of choice!

commission to produce JCB illustrations for children’s book range!

No need for hard hats with these diggers!

Monkey Feet have produced a series of 3D model-type illustrations to be included in a new range of children’s books to be released on behalf of the world famous building machinery provider JCB.

Already beloved by children, Cameron has given the ubiquitous digger a wonderful makeover that is sure to delight the readers of ‘Joey the JCB’ and his vast array of friends.

Cameron has already proved himself a handy man to have on the Monkey Feet team with his illustrations for Bob The Builder books and we are pleased to say that he was a perfect tradesman – delivering on time and in line with the customers initial specification.

Jo of PH publishing was extremely pleased with the job and we look forward to working together again and digging deeper into the world of JCB!

request to provide artwork for playground construction company.

As the old saying goes – all work and no play makes monkey feet a dull place to be.

Thankfully, our reputation precedes us and Soft Surfaces of Wilmslow decided we would be perfect to produce a brand new range of animal designs to be incorporated into their superb playground surfaces.

We have made great strides with the initial brief and are enjoying working on the job and we look forward to working with Soft Surfaces for a long time to come on a number of different job types.

Bagsy first on the swings!!
